Notes for the coming Sundays:

• We are calling for all the room parents and whoever parents interested to join our “greet, chat and share” session on 10/7 (this Sunday) at F-209, the classroom next to the school office. Morning session is from 9:45am to 10:30am and afternoon session starts from 1:45pm to 2:30pm.

• Visa service is at office (F-212) this Sunday 10/7 from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

• Enrichment course schedule and introduction are available on website, https://sdhxcs.org/index.php/en/programs/enrichment-program. We will continue to have display board in H building lobby showing the available enrichment classes. Please stop by if you are interested or you have any questions.

• Parent service is a very important part of the school operation. It requires all parents’ involvement. When it is your turn for volunteer, the sign-in time is between 9:00 – 9:15 for morning parents and 12:45 – 1:00 for afternoon parents. Please refer to the attached Safety Patrol Duties and Safety Patrol Checklist to understand what is expected from parents on duty. Parents should not come and unaware what your responsibilities are.

• Students safety is always our top priority. We assign parents on duty to perform routine safety patrol on the campus. However, there are over 1,000 students on the campus each Sunday, we need all the parents to constantly remind your student/(s) or their siblings DO NOT run or chase around on the campus, in the classroom, or in the hallway to avoid hurting or getting hurt. If an accident happens or if you notice any potential safety risks at school, please report to your teacher or to the office at your first available. Together, let’s ensure a safe and fun Chinese learning environment for our students.

• If you were a 2017-18 school year Regular or Bilingual program room parent, to thank you for your good work been done, it’s the time to claim your current year tuition discount of $50 (gift card). Please stop by office F-212 on or before 11/4/2018.

Here are the notes for coming Sundays:

• If you were a 2017-18 school year Regular or Bilingual program room parent, to thank you for your good work been done, it’s the time to claim your current year tuition discount of $50 (gift card). Please stop by office F-212 10:00am – 3:00pm on or before 11/4/2018.

• Regular/Bilingual program annual Penmanship Contest will be held this coming Sunday 10/28 in individual classroom. I am sure everyone will submit their best performance. Each participating student will receive a coupon award.

• As you may know that our Spring Festival Dragon is getting old and falling apart. Last Sunday, a group of parents visited the dragon, identified the issues, and provided solutions to fix it. On next “Chat and Share”11/4 (next Sunday), PTA would appreciate whoever can join us to fix the dragon in front of F-209. Supplies will be provided. Morning session will meet at 9:45am and afternoon session starts at 1:45pm. It will be fun! We are looking forward to seeing you.

• HuaXia Tutor club is officially established. PTA is calling for teachers for any subjects potentially in need.
